Fabric: Softest Handwoven Jamdani Cotton Mul
Craft: This dress is made softest cotton mul Jamdani weave. Jamdani, the craft of a skilled artisan is truly one of the finest and most intricate forms of handloom that involves intricate hand-weaving right from setting up the loom to weaving the intricate designs with a specific thread count. The motifs that you see on the fabric are inlaid into the fabric by adding a denser thread to fine warp threads, all done by hand. A process that is truly mesmerizing to watch, it can take 2-3 weavers to complete 1 yard of fabric and anywhere between 1 week and 1 month to finish.
